Missing the last subway can have its advantages☆: you can get to know nice people who have the same problem.
This happened to me in Tokyo tonight... The last subway left about 00:something, but I went out about 2 or 3, so I missed it and had to wait in a 24h- dining restaurant (><).
About half an hour before the first subway left ( 5:00AM!!!!!), a young Japanese woman spoke to me...and we became friends, exchanged our EMail addresses(^^). We will meet each other soon ☆0(≧∀≦)0♪☆!
